VIPA runs as a VST3 or AU plugin in every major DAW — Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper, and more. Logic Pro users can also run VIPA as a MIDI FX plugin, keeping it directly on an instrument track. If your DAW supports VST3 or AU, VIPA works with it. Note: Pro Tools (AAX) is not currently supported.
VIPA is built lean and runs efficiently on most modern machines. Minimum requirements: 70 MB storage, 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended), 64-bit processor, macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon) or Windows 10+, and a VST3 or AU compatible DAW. Internet is required for initial activation and image-based chord generation. The Offline Chord Library works without a connection.
