This policy says what you keep when a VIPA Creator subscription ends. Credits are covered in the Credit Policy. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.

While the period you paid for is still running

You can cancel anytime, in the customer portal or by emailing team@vocalpockets.com. VIPA stays fully available through the end of the period you already paid for. Playback, chord editing, the offline Chord Library, Generate, and Moodscapes released during that period all continue until that date. An annual cancel during the refund period is the exception, described next.

Cancel an annual plan during the refund period

The refund period is the first 60 days after an annual subscription starts. A renewal does not start a new refund period. A new subscription after you cancel does. Cancel during the refund period and that charge is refunded in full. The paid period ends when the refund succeeds. From then on, access matches Monthly:

  • Playback continues.
  • You can no longer edit chords or use the offline Chord Library.
  • Generate stops.
  • New monthly Moodscapes stop arriving.
  • Sessions you saved stay on your computer. You can open one, play it, and drag MIDI out.
  • MIDI already in your DAW keeps playing.
  • A Vault pack you bought stays on the account, and that library closes with chord editing, the same as Monthly.

Subscription credits included with the plan are removed when the refund succeeds. Credit packs you bought separately stay. If the refund cannot be completed, the cancel stands as a normal annual cancel and you keep the rest of the year you paid for.

After that period — Annual

You keep what you bought. This applies when you cancel after the refund period, once the period you paid for has ended.

  • Playback continues.
  • You can still edit chords.
  • You can still use the offline Chord Library.
  • Moodscapes already on your machine stay visible. Generate from them stops, so those images no longer produce new chords.
  • New monthly Moodscapes stop arriving.
  • Sessions you saved stay on your computer, and you can keep editing them.
  • MIDI already in your DAW keeps playing.

After that period — Monthly

  • Playback continues.
  • You can no longer edit chords or use the offline Chord Library.
  • Generate stops.
  • New monthly Moodscapes stop arriving.
  • Sessions you saved stay on your computer. You can open one, play it, and drag MIDI out.
  • MIDI already in your DAW keeps playing. That MIDI does not need an active subscription.

Packs you buy

A pack you buy from the Vault is a one-time purchase. On Annual, after the paid period, it stays yours for viewing. On Monthly, and on an annual plan refunded during the refund period, that library closes with chord editing.

Credits

If you cancel, credits still on your account are forfeited on the effective date of cancellation. An annual refund during the refund period is different: subscription credits included with the plan are removed, and credit packs you bought separately stay. If you subscribe again, your balance starts over. Credits from an earlier subscription do not come back. The full rules are in the Credit Policy.
